Job Title: Warehouse Worker - E-town, KY

Pay: $16 per hour (Weekly pay)

Shift: 1st shift

Job Description

This role supports a high-volume distribution environment by manually receiving trailers, handling large consumer products, and building secure pallets for shipment. You will work with material handling equipment, including manual and electric pallet jacks, and perform physically demanding tasks that require strength, attention to detail, and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

Manually receive trailers at international distribution center locations, ensuring accurate unloading and handling of inbound freight.

Build and organize pallets of large items such as patio furniture, televisions, and air conditioners in a safe and efficient manner.

Operate manual and electric pallet jacks to move, stage, and position pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.

Perform material handling tasks including loading, unloading, and transferring products to designated areas.

Lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly and safely during the shift.

Read and follow written instructions, labels, and documentation to ensure correct product handling and placement.

Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety guidelines and procedures.

Inspect equipment such as pallet jacks before use and report any issues or safety concerns promptly.

Support overall warehouse operations as needed, including general warehouse duties and assisting other team members.

Essential Skills

Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

Ability to operate a manual pallet jack safely and efficiently.

Ability to operate an electric pallet jack or willingness to learn.

Capability to lift and move up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.

Strong material handling skills, including loading and unloading freight.

Good reading skills to understand labels, instructions, and documentation.

Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members.

Reliable attendance and punctuality for early morning shift hours.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Experience building pallets of large or bulky items such as furniture, televisions, or appliances.

Familiarity with safety procedures in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.

Strong attention to detail when organizing and staging products.

This is a Contract position based out of Elizabethtown, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.50/hr.
